Freedom from fusion-current paradigms in TMJ ankylosis management

Course Chairmen

Saruchi Agrawal, SORG India Chair;

Pushkar P Waknis, SORG India Officer

Course concept

The MIDTERM Conference of Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India is primarily focused on advancing knowledge, education, and clinical training for postgraduate students. This session will address the prevalence of TMJ ankylosis in India and explore the various approaches to treatment planning. The wide range of available treatment options often creates significant challenges and dilemmas in both surgical planning and execution.

This panel brings together leading experts who have dedicated more than two decades to the management of TMJ ankylosis. Through a series of pertinent and thought-provoking questions, the moderator will critically examine existing protocols and provide clarity on how postgraduate students should approach the planning, preparation, and surgical management of these complex cases.
