  • Anatomical base of neck dissection I-III and IV/IV; landmarks, incisions/approaches, risks and complications (Möst)

  • Lectures on the principles of maxillofacial tumor resection (Hoffmann):

    • Patient-based lectures on the principles of oral oncology, surgical approaches and anatomic features

    • Patient-based cases (tumors of the maxilla and orbit, tumors of the infraorbital region, tumors of the oral cavity, tumors of the tongue base)

       

Part 2 | 1:15 – 3:30 p.m.

  • Coronal approach with preauricular extension and osteotomy of the zygomatic arch for tumors of the infratemporal region; anatomical base

  • Presentation (Möst)

  • Step-by-step human specimen preparation (Faculty)

Part 3 | 3:45 – 6:00 p.m.

  • Lip/mandible split approach for tumors of the tongue base and pterygomandibular region; anatomical base

  • Weber-Dieffenbach-Fergusson approach with hemimaxillectomy at the Le-Fort-I level for tumors of the posterior maxilla and the maxillary sinus, preparation of the maxillary artery and the trigeminal nerve after malar bone osteotomy, Orbital exenteration

Cancellation by course organizer

  • the course organizer reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the course non-viable.
  • if the organizer cancels a course, registrants will be offered a full refund of registration fees. The organizer will not reimburse other costs incurred with the course (travel or hotel bookings by participants not made by the organizer).
  • should circumstances arise that result in postponement of a course, the organizer has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Registration cancellation by participant:

  • The deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 21 business days before the course.
  • Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a service fee of € 100.-.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend the course.
  • Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. When writing your cancellation please include the details of your credit card or bank details (BIC).
