These and many other topics were part of the 3-day fresh frozen cadaver course: lectures on embryology and anatomy of the face and especially cleft malformations, surgery of the hard palate, soft palate and lip, and of course lots of practical exercises. 16 participants from 10 nations joined the 12th SORG Cleft and Face Course in Maastricht. The attendees could apply their theoretical knowledge gained during the lectures directly together with chairmen Prof. Dr. Dr. Peter Kessler and Prof. Dr. Dr. Gwen R. J. Swennen accompanied by an excellent selection of speakers on fresh frozen cadavers. Thanks to Maastricht University for hosting us again. Looking forward to the next course!
