Prof. Sun is a famous surgeon in oral and maxillofacial head and neck tumor surgery. He is one of the pioneers to perform the vascularized fibula flaps combined with 3D plastic titanium mesh to repair large maxillary defects and make functional maxillary reconstruction possible. Nearly 30 online and offline SORG events have been held in China with the lead of Prof. Sun. In addition, he has successfully established the academic connection between SORG China and the other regional groups of SORG.

Now, we are pleased to announce that Prof. Yue He has been elected to be the new Chairman of SORG China and will take from now on responsibility over from Prof. Jian Sun. Prof. Yue He is working as well at the Shanghai Ninth People´s Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Prof. In addition to his new position in the SORG China regional group, he is executive in the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), in the Committee of Asia Association of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, General Secretary and committee of Chinese Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (CSOMS). Being the Chairman of SORG China before, he has supported a lot of successful academic events.
