Despite of its relatively low case numbers, craniofacial anomalies and syndromic diseases develop in a multitude of different constellations.

The treating physician nowadays has a larger scope of treatment options than ever before and it is becoming more and more complex to find the best solution for each patient as new strategies, materials and treatment concepts are coming in. The SORG Craniofacial section together with invited European guest speakers addressed this complex topic on September 17th in a satellite symposium at the occasion of the ISCFS congress in Paris.  Close to 120 participants found their way to the Auditorium in Maison de la Chimie and attended vivid discussion after each presentation.
