Computer-based planning and simulation along with three-dimensional design capabilities nowadays provide greater precision and customization for patient’s needs. From April 13th - 14th, 2018, around 200 participants mainly from the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region, but also from Europe attended a comprehensive course featuring a top faculty improving their knowledge and skills regarding the application of computer assisted planning and surgery as well as the selection of customized implants enjoying the excellent infrastructure of MBRU in Dubai.

Beside the transfer of evidence-based expert know-how during the lectures, most of the attendees took the chance to practice desktop-based individual 3D virtual planning in orthognathic procedures and intraoperative navigation of patient-specific implant solutions in two parallel running hands-on workshop. The course was highly evaluated by all delegates and recommends itself for recommendation thanks to the high topicality of the subject.
